Global Citizen, Lagos host live 24-hour concert tomorrow | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News


The international advocacy organisation, Global Citizen, supported by the Lagos State Government and Access Bank, will hold a 24-hour live broadcast tomorrow, September 25.xThe events and performances will be filmed across six continents aimed at uniting the world, defending the planetand defeating poverty. Global Citizen Live is part of Global Citizen’s 2021 global campaign. The broadcast will feature musicians, celebrities, and world leaders from six continents working together to make a change and impact climate and poverty. Speaking of his excitement for the cause, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that the state “is thrilled to be a part of Global Citizen Live. With over 10 million monthly advocates, Global Citizen is the world’s largest movement of action takers and impact makers dedicated to ending extreme poverty by 2030.
